FPL Draft free agents
Who to claim before this gameweek’s waivers — ranked on form, fixtures and actual minutes, not August reputation. The same engine the draft room runs in-season, refreshed from the live data feed every day.
The form board
The best players right now, whoever drafted them — recent form and actual playing time lead, exactly as the draft room’s in-season mode scores. “Baseline” is the same player’s season-long standing; the change column is who is surging or sliding right now.

The pickups
In form furthest above their season-long standing — the players most likely to still be unowned in leagues that roster by reputation. Injured players are excluded: they cannot help this week.

The drop watch
Established names the moment has turned on — injured, or in form far below their standing. Not automatic drops: a star with a short-term injury is usually a stash, not a cut. But worth a look before waivers run.

Common questions
- How are these free agents ranked?
- On the in-season score the draft room uses once the season starts: recent form, upcoming fixtures and actual minutes lead, reputation is discounted, and injuries are priced in. The “baseline” column shows each player’s season-long standing, so the change column separates a hot fortnight from an established level.
- When should I make my claims?
- FPL Draft processes waivers ahead of each gameweek deadline — teams lock 90 minutes before the first match. Claims in before the waiver cutoff, then free agents are first-come. The deadlines page lists every one in your own time zone.
- Why is a big name on the drop watch?
- Because minutes or form say so. It is not an automatic drop — a short injury is usually worth riding out in a 15-player squad — but a player whose minutes have quietly evaporated costs you every week you wait.
- Does this account for fixtures?
- Yes — the upcoming run is a quarter of the score, which is why a mid-price player at an in-form club with kind fixtures can outrank a bigger name walking into a hard month. The fixture ease page shows that club-by-club.
Claims lock with the gameweek — every deadline is on the FPL deadlines page in your own time zone. Planning further ahead? See which clubs have the kindest run on the fixture ease board, or enter your squad in the Gameweek Ladder.
